Who we are
Waypoint is the community app for Process Based Hunter, operated by Process Based Hunter LLC. This policy covers the mobile app (iOS and Android) and the app pages at processbasedhunter.com — it does not cover the Process Based Hunter marketing site outside those app pages.
Information we collect
To sign you in
The email address or phone number you enter to log in. We use it to look up your existing contact record and send a one-time verification code.
Your profile
Your name, phone number, and email address, as shown and editable on your Profile page. If you edit any of these, we update your contact record accordingly.
Content you post
Anything you choose to share in the app: community posts and replies, harvest log entries (animal, weight, notes), and any photos or videos you upload. This content is visible to other members of the community by design.
Purchase history
If you've purchased anything through Process Based Hunter, your Profile page displays that transaction history. We don't collect new payment information through the app itself.
Basic technical information
When you log in, we send your browser/device's user agent string and the page you were on to our login provider, purely to help route and troubleshoot the sign-in request.
What we don't do
We don't use cookies or ad-tracking. Your signed-in state is stored only in your device's local app storage — it isn't a tracking identifier and isn't shared with advertisers.
How we use it
- Sign you in and keep you signed in on your device
- Show your posts, harvest log entries, and replies to other community members
- Show you webinars, recordings, and lessons available in the app
- Display your own transaction history back to you
- Respond to moderation reports and keep the community feed usable
Who we share it with
We don't sell your information. A few outside services help run Waypoint, and each only sees what it needs to do its job:

Photos and videos you upload are stored in a public file bucket and are reachable by anyone with the link, the same way they work in the app's community feed today.
How long we keep it
We keep your contact record and content for as long as your account is active. If you'd like anything removed, you can request account deletion any time from your Profile page, or contact us using the details below.
Your choices
- You can edit your name, phone, and email any time from your Profile page
- You can log out at any time, which clears your signed-in state from that device
- You can request deletion of your account and data any time from the Request Account Deletion page
Children's privacy
Waypoint is intended for adult hunters and isn't directed at children. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes in a meaningful way, we'll update the effective date above. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the update.
